While explaining the process of taking Radhika in her film, Saira said that she had seen Radhika in the Hindi language film 'Parchd'. In this film, Saira liked Radhika's character and talked to the film's director Lydia Dean Pilcher about taking Radhika for the role of Noor Inayat Khan in her film. Lydia also liked Saira and said that she would be very happy if Radhika works in this film and plays Noor. She can play this character beautifully.
Radhika was Saira's first choice for this character. When she spoke to Lydia about this, she too agreed to it. Then Radhika was talked about and Radhika immediately said yes. Saira felt that if the important character of Noor Inayat Khan plays a brilliant Indian actress, then the character will gain even more weight. This is Radhika's first American film.
Saira believes that with this Radhika will become a big actress not only in India but internationally. Radhika Apte's film has been screened at the Edinburgh International Film Festival on 21 June last year.
