In this sense, Xiaomi has just put for sale in Spain its latest smart speaker model, presented less than a month ago in India, although it arrives in Spain in the only option of white and grey, although there is also a completely black option, offering a more elegant look.
The new Xiaomi Mi Smart Speaker offers an almost cylindrical body, wrapped laterally with a metal mesh with just over 10,000 perforations, precisely 10,531 perforations, with which to try to wrap the whole room in which it is available.
At the top is a touch button system at its most central, and at the edge is a ring of reaction lights capable of generating up to 16 million colours.
At the same top are also two smart far-field microphones with which, among other things, Google Assistant will be able to receive voice commands. Those who wish will have the possibility to disable the microphones to preserve their privacy at times when they will not use them.
Already inside, this device brings a powerful 12W speaker with a 63.5mm sound controller with which you will be able to deliver surround sound. This controller is, in turn, connected to the Texas Instrument TAS5805M processor intended to deliver high-power, low-distortion audio, with advanced dynamic response algorithms.
It should be noted that the speaker is compatible with the DTS standard and that the device itself supports Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi 2.4 GHz/ 5 GHz connectivity options
Xiaomi launches the idea of being able to use two Mi Smart Speakers in the same room to offer a cinematic audio experience, pairing the speakers using Bluetooth, or putting a speaker in each room and controlling them from a single mobile phone (It is compatible with Android 4.4 and iOS 9.0 or later versions of these systems).
