Ileana D'Cruz Biography

Ileana D'Cruz (born on 01 November 1987 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India) is an Indian actress and model who predominantly appears in Tollywood and Bollywood films. D'Cruz was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India to a lawyer Ronaldo D'Cruz (a Roman Catholic) and Sameera and Ileana spent most of her childhood in Goa, India . Though initially reluctant, D'Cruz made her movie debut in 2006 with Tollywood film Devadasu along with actor Ram, which became the year's 1st major commercial Hit and Ileana got her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debutant. Ileana established herself in Tollywood cinema with films including Mahesh Babu's Pokiri (2006), Pawan Kalyan's Jalsa (2008), Raviteja's Kick (2009) and Allu Arjun's Julayi (2012). In Kollywood cinema, D'Cruz has begin with Ravi Krishna's Kedi (2006) and Shankar's Nanban (2012). In 2012, D'Cruz made her Bollywood movie debut with Anurag Basu's Barfi! along with Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. She worked in Bollywood movies like Main Tera Hero (2014) with Varun Dhawan, Rustom (2016) with Akshay Kumar, Baadshaho (2017) with Ajay Devgn and Raid (2018) with Ajay Devgn.

Ileana was born into a Goan Catholic family in Mahim, Mumbai, India on 01 November 1987. Ileana's family relocated to Parra, Goa, India when she ten years old. Her mother tongue (native language) is Konkani. She started modeling and photoshoots. Then worked in some commercial advertisements. Later she got the opportunity to work in movies. Ileana was in a relationship with Australian photographer Andrew Kneebone. It was rumored in media that they both had already been married. On 28th August 2019, Indian media aired the news that the couple has seprated.

Ileana next going to work in The Big Bull (2020) along with Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgn. She also going to work in Unfair And Lovely (2021) along with Randeep Hooda.
