Best maggi recipe ever

I live in a hostel. So you may say Maggi to be the favourite food saviour for all hostel people. :D

I saw this post somewhere and this is very relatable I must say

Because this is how girl's hostel Maggi actually is.

Everyone has their own way of making but I'll tell you the most simple one with minimum ingredients yet tasty.

Cut onions into strips. You don't really have to be perfect.

Cut chillies. I prefer to cut them in two equal strips to get the maximum spice out of it.

Chop a tomato.

Now add vegetable oil and let it warm and then add the onions into it and wait till it turns golden brown.

Then add chillies and after some seconds add tomato. Let this all get fried properly. You may add veggies like carrots , capsicum, beans as per your taste.

Now I like to add half of the Maggi masala and fry it with the veggies. And then add some spicy shezwan sauce but if you don't have it you may add tomato sauce as well. I don't really mind the tangy tomato flavour in my Maggi.

Then add a little bit of whatever masala you have. I add Everest sabzi masala, just a pinch of it.

Fry it a bit more and then add water and pour the remaining Maggi masala into it. Add Maggi and then add salt as per your taste.

If you want you may add red chilli powder as well to make it more spicier . Nothing can be better than hot and spicy Maggi :D

Let it boil for 4–5 mins and voila .. there it is ! At this point you may add some coriander leaves as well.

P.s- add water carefully depending on how you want your Maggi. If you want it soupy add more water if you want it without soup don't add too much water and let the Maggi boil until all the water gets soaked.

This is the Maggi I made today. I didn't really have any vegetables with me but trust me it still tasted amazing.

Edit: Made Maggi again today. Attaching another pic of it :P

This slightly got overcooked because I was busy reading answers on Quora :D

For people thinking if I ate it all by myself - Oh yes ! :D I'm a very big foodie and I love eating and cooking.. people can't usually tell that by looking at me but my roomates surely do know the quantity of food I eat :P

P.S - I'm not really endorsing the idea of eating Maggi on a daily basis because of quite obvious reasons. Surely, Maggi is unhealthy but having it twice or thrice a week is okay I guess especially for a person like me, who lives in a hostel and is hungry even after two hours of having lunch. :D And the day I ate this much Maggi was when I had a really long day at college and was too tired and hungry to cook anything else being in college since morning and didn't even get time to have lunch. So that was my dinner and I don't have it everyday, even though I would love to! But can't deny that Maggi is such an unhealthy food, but still you can do your part to make it a bit healthy by adding veggies or even boiling Maggi noodles and then draining out the water and then cooking that maggi. :)
