Facebook was created with the objective of connecting good people and improving social networks. But now this platform is dominated by fake and false accounts. Now Facebook has started a campaign against such fake accounts. Facebook has removed 1,196 accounts, 994 malicious accounts from Instagram, as well as fake 7,947 pages and 110 groups. In October, Facebook removed 14 networks of accounts, pages and groups. Eight of them - from Georgia, Myanmar, Ukraine and Azerbaijan - targeted domestic audiences in their countries and removed from six networks - Iran, Egypt, the United States and Mexico that focused on people outside their countries.
Many accounts of Myanmar removed before election
In Myanmar, it removed 36 Facebook accounts, six pages, two groups and an Instagram account linked to a PR agency Openmind. "We found this network as part of our active investigation into suspected coordinated inauthentic behavior in the region before the November election in Myanmar," Facebook said in a statement. The social network also removed 10 Facebook accounts, 8 pages, 2 groups and 2 Instagram accounts operated by people in Myanmar. They were focused on domestic audiences.

In the US, Facebook removed 202 Facebook accounts, 54 pages and 76 Instagram accounts, which were associated with Rally Forge, an American marketing firm, and are working on behalf of Turning Point USA and the Inclusive Conservation Group.
