There was a time in our childhood when we use to see our sports stars Like Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev and Brian Lara playing an very impressive cricket in the stadium and we used to dream of playing like them in an international platform. There are many things possible in dreams but dreams have nothing to do with reality. In reality we need to do a lot of hard work to reach a level. There various reasons why people do not make career in sports, one of the reason is that they think that entire life they cannot play sports instead they prefer to study and get a job and another reason is that they think for making career in sports they need to work hard since childhood at the age of 4. But their are sports in which we can make career at any age and for that we don't need to do any physical exercises at gym and run 10 rounds in the field. Chess:
Chess is a game played between 2 players in 8x8 square board. Each player gets 16 pieces of either white or black color. These 16 pieces consist of 8 pawns, 2 bishops, 2 knights , 2 rooks , 1 king and 1 queen. The pieces are placed in a definite order and every piece has a particular move of capturing another piece. A players ultimate objective is to make such moves to capture the King of their opponent. The player who succeeds in capturing the King of their opponent is the winner. Chess is entirely game of brain. We can learn chess by sitting at home. There videos on YouTube where it is shown how to play chess. There tutorials in the site Chess.com where we can learn Chess from basic to expert level. We can practice playing on this site if we don't have any second player and there is no need to buy a chess board as virtual chess board is present at this site. There are tournaments played on this site where players across the globe participate. Even state level, national level and international level tournaments of Chess are held by various sport federations.

Carrom:
Carrom is a sport which is played on a board made of plywood having 4 pockets. The size of carrom board is 29x29 inches. This sport can be played by minimum two players and maximum four players. There 17 coins out of which 8 coins are black, 8 coins are white and 1 is red. Players have to toss for getting black or white. After the toss the coins are arranged in a particular order in the center of board. The player who has got white will get the opportunity to break first. The players have to hit their respective coins using a disc shaped piece called striker such that it goes inside pocket. The player whose all respective color coins along with red coin is inside the pocket first is the winner. If we have sufficient space at home then we can buy a carrom board and play with someone or we can also join a nearby club where people come to play carrom. Tournaments like Senior National Carrom championship , Inter State Carrom Championship and Federation Cup Carrom tournament are held by All India Carrom Federation. Even international tournaments like Carrom World Cup are also held.

Billiards:
Billiards is a sport which is played on a big table covered with smooth green cloth having a size of 10x5 foot and having six pockets. There are total 15 balls out of which 7 are solid , 7 are stripes and 1 is black ball which is to be inserted by a player at last. The balls are arranged in the center of table. The player has to place a white ball on table and hit it with cue stick such that other balls are moved. The white ball can't be hand moved unless it enters the pocket. The game is about aiming the white ball and hitting it with cue stick such that it collides with other ball and the other ball gets inside the pocket. The decision of whether a player will get solid or stripes depends on whichever category ball goes inside first , if the first ball inserted in the game is solid then the player who has inserted it will have to insert solid balls and his opponent will insert stripe balls. Whichever player is able to insert all his category balls along with black ball wins the game. One thing to be noted is black ball needs to be inserted after all our category balls are inserted otherwise the player is disqualified. We may not be able to afford Billiard table as it is in huge size and expensive as well so its better to go to any nearby club and play. State, National and International level billiards tournament are organized. Some of the recognized billiards tournaments are UK Championship, Scottish Open and European Masters.
Dart:
Dart is metallic needle which is thrown on a board made up of soft material. A dart board is a piece of board which is separated by areas. Each area has specific number of points which are awarded to player for throwing dart on that area. The player has to throw dart in the specific area to get the required number of points. This sport can be played by two or more players. The player who is able to score the targeted points in the given number of chances wins the game. In dart state level, national level and international level tournaments are held. Some of the recognized dart tournaments are World Dart Championship, Belgium Open and Grand Slam are held.
