Marion Byron was an American actress and comedian born on March 16, 1911, in Dayton, Kentucky. She began her career in entertainment as a child actress on the vaudeville stage, and by the age of 14, she had appeared in several Broadway productions.

In 1929, Byron made her screen debut in the film "The Broadway Hoofer," and soon after, she became a popular comedic actress in Hollywood. She appeared in several films throughout the 1930s, including "The Big Broadcast" (1932), "The Kid from Spain" (1932), and "One Hour with You" (1932).

Byron was known for her comedic timing and zany antics, and she often played the role of the ditzy blonde. Her career began to decline in the mid-1930s, however, and she appeared in fewer films. In the 1940s, Byron worked as a stage actress and made occasional film appearances.

Byron's personal life was often turbulent, and she was married and divorced three times. She struggled with alcoholism and was arrested several times for driving under the influence.

Marion Byron passed away on July 5, 1985, in Santa Barbara, California, at the age of 74. Despite her relatively short career, she made a lasting impression on audiences with her comedic talent and memorable performances.
