The bonding between a brother and sister is always special. Description for this relationship is just beyond words. Every brother and sister love their siblings. But some may express it and some may not. But love without expression is of no use.
Hence may be since our ancestors times, we are celebrating this special festival of Rakshabandhan. So that we can express our love and care to our siblings. Throughout the year, it is common that every brother and sister fight for silly reasons. But on occassion of Rakshabandhan, the bond between a brother and sister increases.
Every sister always wishes for her brother's well-being. And a brother also cares for his sister and protects her. But something special on Rakshabandhan is that both siblings expresses it. A sister ties rakhi for his brother and prays to god for his health and well-being. And a brother also shows his love and promises to protect her and gives her gifts to make her happy.
