Pandya is currently sidelined with a lower back injury and just last week underwent a lower back surgery in London, which has indefinitely ruled him out of the national cricket team. One, among the few poster boys of Indian cricket, Pandya is renowned for his luxury and extravagant lifestyle. 
“Smiling Since 1993,” Pandya captioned the birthday picture he posted on Instagram. The 26-year-old is known for living his life on his own terms and has often paid the price for the larger than lifestyle he practices. Just recently he was trolled for his cheeky birthday message for senior pro and former Indian international Zaheer Khan, with many – including Zaheer himself and many senior journalists, blasting the star cricketer for his immaturity.
