How to prepare north indian style momos at home
Ingredients needed:
Maida-2 cup
Oil-2 tsp
Salt-to taste
Onion-1
Carrot-2
Capsicum-1
Cabbage-1 cup
Soy sauce-1 tbsp
White vinegar-1 tbsp
Chilli sauce-1 tbsp

Method:
  • Mix 2 cup maida with salt.
  • Add 2 tsp oil and mix well.
  • Add water little by little to make soft dough.
  • Knead well for 10 minutes and keep it in aside.
  • Now the dough is ready.

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onion,capsicum,cabbage,carrot and keep stirring in a low flame.
  • Add soy sauce,chilli sauce,white vinegar and saute for a minute.
  • After 5 minutes turn off the flame.
  • Now stuffing is ready.

  • Take small portion of dough and roll the dough using rolling pin.
  • Place the stuffing at the centre of the flattened dough.
  • Lift one side of edge and start pleating.
  • Join all of them in a centre and seal it.
  • Steam all momos in a idly cooker.
  • After 10 minutes momos is ready.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketch up.
