The Sky Is Pink Early Reviews: The Priyanka-Farhan Film Is An Emotional Rollercoaster, Left Fans Laughing And Crying All At Once
Priyanka Chopra is making a comeback to Bollywood after three long years of Hollywood keeping her busy and no doubt the excitement on the matter is an all-time high. Her film The Sky Is Pink also starring Farhan Akhtar will be in theatres on Friday and after the standing ovation at the Toronto International Film Festival, London Film Festival and the reviews pouring in on Twitter it looks like a niche but emotional rollercoaster you wouldn’t want to miss.
The film is based on a real-life story of a teenage girl Aisha Chaudhary who suffers from a terminal case of pulmonary fibrosis. The Sky Is Pink focuses on how her family comes to terms with the life-altering moment and how they help her live full and happy life while battling their own issues. The story is narrated by Aisha herself, who talks about her parents' love story and all the ups and downs they faced together while helping her cope with her illness.
