After the new government in Maharashtra, PM Modi's picture disappeared from government advertisement
Much has changed with the government after the Maha Vikas Aghadi government came to power in Maharashtra. Here the picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has disappeared from the official advertisement. On Thursday, state BJP vice-president Prasad Lal alleged that the PM's picture has been removed from the government advertisement, and demanded that at least the common courtesy should be followed.
A letter has been written to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar alleging that the Supreme Court guidelines are being violated. The Supreme Court directs that the government advertisement should have a photograph of PM. This letter has demanded that this should be taken care of in the publication of advertisements in the future and the picture of PM Modi should be put up. The letter said that PM Modi's picture is not being printed in government advertisements since the new government came.
In the letter written by Maharashtra BJP vice-president Prasad Lal, he has appealed to further publish the picture of PM Modi in government advertisements, as the Supreme Court directs in this regard. The BJP leader and MLA said that the Supreme Court has given instructions in government advertisements to print only the photographs of the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister, the President, and the Governor and the Chief Justice. He has appealed that he direct his leaders so that this does not happen in the future. Explain that there is a coalition government of NCP-Shiv Sena-Congress in the state.
