At birth the human skeleton is made up of around 300 bones. By adulthood, some bones have fused together to end up with 206 bones. Bones are made up of Calcium and can get weaker if the person is suffering from minerals deficiency.
There are various types of bones movable and unmovable out of which mandible is the only movable bone in skull of man.

Human skeleton can be divided into the axial skeleton and the appendicular skeleton. Axial skeleton is formed by vertebral column, the rib cage and the skull. The appendicular skeleton, which is attached to the axial skeleton, is formed by the pectoral girdle, the pelvic girdle and the bones of the upper and lower limbs.
