Google Pay users must keep their UPI PIN as a secret. Don't tell that pin to anyone. The only Google Pay app available in the Google Play Store can be downloaded and used. Do not download it from other sources. If you need to contact customer care, you have to phone the app numbers only. Do not immediately respond to requests asking money in Google Pay App. If friends, family members request, accept them. If strangers request money, do not access it.

A Google Pay Customer Representative said some customers will try to find out bank information. Do not mention details like that. Nobody asks for that detail. Some make calls to customers to verify their name, date of birth and mobile number. Such people should not answer. Some people make calls to download the Any Desk or Team Viewer App. None of these apps should be used on phones. If anybody asks you to download them don't listen to them. Some people threaten to be blocked if they do not provide debit or credit card details. Such people should not reply.
