All about the, American Astronomical Society meeting

The 235th meeting of the American Astronomical Society is going to held from Saturday, January 4 to Wednesday, January 8.

 New findings on a wide range of astrophysics and other space science topics will be presented by NASA scientists. NASA TV will not carry the briefings.
The included topics are as follows :
  • Discovery of otherworld from NASA's planet hunter, the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS).

  • Findings of Hubble Space Telescope (from gargantuan galaxies to the smallest clumps of dark matter).
  • Extreme insights on a famous supermassive black hole from the Chandra X-ray Observatory.

  • Also, about the new infrared images of the cosmos from the SOFIA.
However, All briefings will take place at 3:15 p.m. or 7:15 p.m. EST, starting Sunday, Jan. 5.
