KL Rahul's funny answer to Rishabh Pant's return to Team India

Batting with wicketkeeping is challenging but Indian player Lokesh Rahul said on Friday that he is 'enjoying' the extra responsibility as it is helping him perform at his best. In addition to playing a quick 56-run innings in 27 balls, Rahul shared a 99-run partnership with captain Virat Kohli (45), which helped India achieve the target of 204 runs by losing four wickets in the first T20 International against New Zealand. In the press conference after the match, when Rahul was asked about the arrival of Rishabh Pant's team in India, he said that it is not his job. He was asked, 'Do you think Rishabh Pant will return to the team and play in this series?' On this Rahul said, 'It is not in my power'.

Rahul is not worried about keeping responsibility
Rahul took over the responsibility behind the wicket after regular wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant was injured in the last ODI series against Australia. In the series, he contributed brilliantly behind the wicket and with the bat, after which Kohli said that he will continue this dual responsibility as it makes the balance of the team right.

When Rahul was asked about this after the first T20 against New Zealand, he said, 'To be honest, I feel good. Internationally it may seem new but I have been doing this work for my IPL franchise for the last 3-4 years. Whenever I get a chance, I keep doing this for my first-class team. I keep practicing wicketkeeping.
