 The central government was facing heavy criticism due to rising domestic LPG cylinder prices. Now the central government has doubled the subsidy on domestic gas cylinders, which has brought great relief to the people. Earlier, domestic cylinders used to get subsidy of Rs 153.86 which has now been increased to Rs 291.48.
