"This is why India didn't win the ODI series against New Zealand", says Virat Kohli

Although India managed to whitewash New Zealand in the T20 series, the kiwis payed back in the ODI series. New Zealand won the series for 3-0. It was a major setback to team India and Indian Fans. From then on fans started speculating on the reasons behind India's defeat. Now, captain Kohli has responded to the media.

The captain Virat Kohli during his press conference after the loss in the 3rd match, spoke about their defeat. "I think in the first match we were pretty much in the contest. In all the three games , the composure and the way we feilded was not good enough for international cricket. The way we came back was a positive one  for us. But we were not good in the field" said Virat Kohli.

When asked about New Zealand's game he said, "We played really well in the T20 series. Here in the ODI series a couple of new guys, good experience for them. They came back with a lot more intensity after the T20 series. They deservedly won".
