Indian population has increased but still is less when compared to China. If we are thinking like that then we are wrong. We should always compare the total number of people in that particular area. That is known as population density. Indian population density is 416/ sq km when compared to 146 /sq km. So our population is 2.8 times more than China, isn't it? This way we have to consider population as the land area means the measure of resources we have. There are various reasons for our population growth !! Let us not go into details of the figures. We will have to see why & how is this happening?
1.No proper knowledge to people( regardless of education background) what population growth leads to? Various problems like water crisis, garbage management, pollution,Unemployment,theft occurs & leads to less availability of resources ( which includes food availability).
2. Here the girls are reaching their puberty at an early age & due to poverty ( major population is below poverty line) also ,the girls are married at an young age which leads to having more children.
3. Due to lack of education of birth control ways the population is growing.

4. Due to various medical advances the mortality rate is reduced which leads to more & more people living.
