Delicious And Colourful - Carrot Halwa..


  • Ingredients: Carrots - 1/4 kg, sugar - 1 cup, ghee - 50 grams, elaichi powder - 1/2 spoon, pistachios - few, almonds - 10 to 15 , milk 250ml.

  • Wash the carrots, and pat them dry. Grate all the carrots and keep aside. Take a pan, heat 3spoons of ghee and add almonds and pistachios. Fry them and keep aside. Now in the same ghee, add grated carrot and fry until nice aroma comes.

  • After that, add milk to the grated carrot mixture, and mix well. Let it cook for sometime. When the mixture turns thick, then add sugar to it. Then cook until turns a sticky. Add ghee gradually, to the halwa. Finally, add the fried nuts.

  • Switch off the flame. Allow it to cool. Carrot Halwa is ready to serve..
