1 - Without Insurance - Friends If you are now caught driving without insurance, you will have to run Rs 2000 under Section 196. Earlier, there was a fine of Rs.1000.
2 - Hit & Run - In the case of Friends Hit & Run, the government will pay compensation of Rs 2 lakh or more to the next of kin of the deceased. So far, the amount was Rs 25,000.
3 - A big penalty for being caught talking to a mobile - The first Rs 1,000 fine was imposed when friends were caught talking to the mobile while driving the car.

4 - Increased penalty on breaking traffic rules - breaking traffic rules under (New Section 177-A) was earlier fined Rs 100, now a fine of Rs 500.
5 - Travelling without ticket bus -
6 - Penalty for not complying with the order of the officers - Friends did not obey the order of the concerned officers of the Traffic Department (Section 179) had earlier been fined Rs 500, now a fine of Rs 2000.
7 - Driving Licence - Friends driving unauthorised vehicles without a driving licence was earlier fined Rs 1,000 under Section 180, now it will cost Rs 5,000.
8 - Increased penalty on driving without driving licence - Friends driving without driving licence was the first Rs 500 fine under Section 181, now it will cost Rs 5,000.
9 - Unqualified driving - Friends driving without qualification was earlier fined Rs 500 under Section 182, which has now been increased to Rs 10,000.
10 - Driving at high speed - Friends driving at high speeds or running at high speeds were fined Rs 500 earlier under Section 189, now a fine of Rs 5,000.
11 - the Increased penalty for not putting seat belt - Friends used to be fined Rs 100 earlier under section 194B for not applying seat belt, now it will cost Rs 1000
12 - Overloading - Friends were fined Rs 100 earlier under Section 194C on overloading of two-wheelers, now it has been increased to Rs 2000, and also the licence will be cancelled for three months.
