How to prepare traditional Andhra Style Sweet Bobatlu

Ingredients
Maida flour-2 cups,oil- 1/2 cup,turmeric powder-1/4 tsp,salt a pinch, water for kneading the dough.
For the stuffing
Soaked gram dal- 1 cup,jaggery powdered- 1 1/2 cup, coconut gratings- 1/4 cup,cardamom powder-1/2 tsp,nutmeg powder-1/8 tsp.

To prepare the stuffing- Pressure cook soaked gram dal for 1 whistle and keep it aside. Take care not to make the gram dal mushy. After cooling grind steamed dal along with jaggery,coconut gratings and cardamom to thick paste.
In a pan add 4 tsp of oil and saute ground paste till the water evaporates. After cooling divide the stuffing into uniform balls and keep it covered.
For the dough- In a wide bowl add maida flour little oil,salt,turmeric powder and little water and knead it little loose dough. Do not add the entire oil. Keep adding oil little by little till the dough doesn't stick to your palm. At last add the remaining over the dough and keep it covered for 3–4 hours till the dough absorbs the oil. Now take the dough and roll into balls and flatten it and place the stuffing and roll it into chapatis and cook on hot skillet till the brown spots appear.

Apply ghee and serve.
