The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted the monsoon situation in the country. It has also been informed that rain activities have started in Eastern and Northeast India. This time the monsoon will be normal. There will be no change in the time of arrival of monsoon in India, ie in Kerala.
In cities like Jalandhar, the date of onset of monsoon was 13 July, but now the date of arrival of monsoon has been changed to 28 June, based on the analysis of data. This also indicates that this year a large part of the country will arrive before the monsoon time.
According to the Meteorological Department, in some areas of central and eastern India, the arrival of monsoon will be delayed by 3 to 7 days, but at the same time the monsoon will become active in the areas of Rajasthan sooner than before. Monsoon rains normally cover the entire part of the country by 14 July. But, this time it is covering the entire country seven days in advance.
The onset of monsoon rains in Bhopal has been changed from June 15 to June 22. According to the Meteorological Department, revision of the onset of monsoon and withdrawal dates will help in the power sector, agriculture sector, water resource management and pre-rain preparedness.
Why the dates were amended
The biggest reason for this is the change in the winds of the Bay of Bengal. There are also many changes in the pattern of rain.
