He also asked people to download the Aarogya Setu App which is designed by Indian Government to keep track of the people affected by this pandemic.

The Aarogya Setu App was developed on 2nd of April and the Government started urging people to download the same. The Prime Minister himself asked the top influencers including sports person, Bollywood celebrities and Industrialists to request people to download this app. Aarogya Setu in Hindi means the bridge of health. Through this App the Government is trying to bridge all the healthy citizens of India and make them aware of anyone tested positive.

This App uses the Bluetooth and GPS of your phone to register you on the central database. It also asks you general questions about your age, gender, profession, travel history, etc to know that whether you are at a risk of being positive or not. Once, you are registered the App suggests you to keep your Bluetooth and GPS on at all times, so that it may guide you of any person who is tested positive. It creates a web of people and help the people in staying safe and maintaining distance by giving them the knowledge of all those who are tested positive. Your Bluetooth and GPS helps this App in scanning any area of and all the people residing in that area for any positive cases. The positive individuals are marked in the central database from where this app gets its data. So, this is a good government initiative you should follow to stay safe.
