When we are planning to launch the Mission Chandrayan 2, let us remember three men who accomplished the NASA mission to step on the Moon in 1969. Fifty years ago two of them landed on the Moon but Michael Collins was 60 miles above them in the space monitoring their activities. Today in a video he said, "We were just three in the space but 4,00,000 people were behind that mission." After stepping on the Moon as a first man ever, Neil Armstrong's message to the people on the Earth was, "One small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.”
In America the Coders, Engineers, Technicians, Mechanics, Doctors, NASA staff, all were praying for the successful mission and safe return of these three. Today by creating a special doodle, Google is commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Man on Moon. The man followed Armstrong was Edwin "Buzz". From the 29 Astronauts, three were finally selected for this Mission by NASA.
Apart from that historic message, further communication was about the surface. He spoke "The surface is fine and hard. It is powdery and our shoes are going inside less than an inch in that coal-like powder, but which is not sticking to the soles or side of our shoes." This was one of the biggest moments in the History of mankind to study of our beloved Moon.
