Delhi government will work on this technology based on the protocol of the central government. All necessary clearances have been received for this.
On Wednesday, Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal was informed about this in a review meeting. Chief officers Arvind Kejriwal, Health Minister Satyendar Jain, and senior officials and doctors were present in the meeting held through video conferencing. In this, ILBS director Dr. SK Sarin told that the Delhi government has got the necessary approval to use Convalescent Plasma Therapy on a trial basis. Right now, serious patients will be treated. The state government will work effectively on this technology based on the protocol of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
On the other hand, the Lieutenant Governor insisted that the life of every human being is precious. The government needs to take all possible steps to get the best treatment for every patient. There is a need to create a compelling network of communication between all the hospitals in Delhi and the Health Department. There should be no flaw at any level.
PPE sufficient in Delhi, there is no shortage of masks Secretary of Health Department said that PPE kits have been got in sufficient quantity. The Delhi government had ordered to buy 1.5 lakh PPE kits, out of which around 3500 are getting daily. The tender for two lakh PPE has been finalized. At the same time, five lakh N95 masks have been ordered. Out of this, 25000 is being supplied every week. This will ensure the safety of those fighting the coronavirus on the next front.
Work to stop rumors The Lieutenant Governor ordered the Delhi Government and Delhi Police to take all steps to avoid rumors. For this, help should also be sought from neighboring states. The order has also been given by all the officers to strictly follow the guidelines issued by the central government for the lockdown.
This is plasma technology Dr. Randeep Guleria, director of AIIMS, says that plasma technology requires the blood of patients who have become free from infection. Therefore, people who have been cured of coronavirus, if those people donate blood, then only the trial on plasma technology can begin.
According to doctors, antibodies are used in plasma technology. An anti-body is formed in the body against infection only if the said body has been exposed to the first infection. When a patient is ill, the antibody is not formed immediately. He becomes serious due to the delay in his body becoming an antibody against the virus. In such a case, the patient who has just been cured of this infection, an antibody is made in his body, which is removed from his body and put in another sick patient. As soon as the antibody goes there it has an effect on the patient and the virus starts to weaken, this increases the chances of the patient recovering more.
