As an Indian, we should be proud that we have some of the tallest statues in the world. Also, we are currently in progress to build world’s tallest statues as well. Here is my list of Top 8 Tallest Statues in India. (heights are approximate)
1. Statue of Unity (182m)
The statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (Statue of Unity) in Gujarat is currently the tallest statue in the world with the height of 182 meters. It is located on a river facing the Sardar Sarovar Dam on river Narmada in Kevadiya colony. The height of 182 was specifically chosen to match the number of seats in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. The statue is divided into five zones of which only three are accessible to the public.

2. Veera Abhaya Anjaneya Hanuman Swami (41m)
This is the tallest Hanuman statue located in the village of Paritala on NH-9 in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. This Lord Hanuman statue is 135 feet tall and was installed in 2003.

3. Thiruvalluvar Statue (40m)
The 95 ft tall statue of Thiruvalluvar is located at a small island in the Kanyakumari town. This statue is a stone sculpture of the Tamil poet and philosopher Valluvar, who was the author of Tirukkural. The total height of the statue is 133 feet, denoting the 133 chapters of the Tirukkural.

4. Buddha Park of Ravangla (39m)
The Buddha Park of Ravangla, also known as Tathagata Tsal is located in Sikkim, India. It features a 130 ft high statue of the Buddha as its centerpiece. The statue of the Buddha marks the occasion of the 2550th birth anniversary of Gautama Buddha.

5. Dhyana Buddha Statue (38.1m)
The Dhyana Buddha is a statue of a Buddha in Amaravathi, India. This statue is 125 ft tall and is situated on the banks of Krishna river. The statue stands on massive Lotus pandal supported by eight pillars symbolizing the Buddha’s eight-fold path to attain salvation. The area is divided into four zones depicting the four noble truths.

6. Statue of Padmasambhava (37.5m)
The statue of Padmasambhava, also known as Guru Rinpoche, is the highlight of the Rewalsar town in Himachal Pradesh. The statue was installed in 2012 by Dalai Lama. The total height of Statue of Guru Rinpoche is 123 feet.

7. Lord Shiva of Murudeshwara (37m)
Murdeshwar is famous for the world’s second tallest statue of Lord Shiva. It is situated in Murudeshwara town of Uttara Kannada district in Karnataka. The total height of Lord Shiva of Murudeshwara is 122 feet. The statue was built by Shivamogga's Kashinath and several other sculptors, financed by businessman and philanthropist Mr R.N. Shetty.

8. Adiyogi Shiva statue (34m)
Adiyogi refers to "the first yogi" or Shiva as the originator of yoga. This statue of Lord Shiva is 112 ft tall and is situated at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The statue was designed by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev. The Indian Ministry of Tourism has included the statue in its official Incredible India campaign. Adiyogi was inaugurated by Narendra Modi on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri.
