Thiruvananthapuram: After the relaxation of the fifth phase of Corona virus lockdown across the country, preparations are being made to reopen religious places from June 8. This preparation is also in full swing in Kerala. At present, the idea is going on in the state that in addition to the Sabarimala temple, only ten people can be allowed to visit the temple at a time.
Travancore Devaswom Board Chairman N. Vasu has also discussed with the Chief Minister in this context. In the meeting, Devaswom suggested that some restrictions be placed on the entry of devotees during the temples which have been open since June 8. He told that on this matter we have also proposed before the CM that only 10 people should be allowed to visit temples other than Sabarimala at one time.
Earlier, N. Vasu had said that during the opening of temples, full attention would be given to cleanliness. Apart from this, all devotees have been advised to wear masks. Not only this, he said that children below 10 years of age and those above 65 years of age cannot be allowed in the temple.
Please tell that Corona virus has caused havoc all over the country. So far, the number of people who died of corona here has crossed 6 thousand. Apart from this, the figure of infected has reached beyond 1.25 million. The country lockdown was imposed in view of the havoc of the infection. Under this, the fifth phase of lockdown is going on in the country. This lockdown provides considerable relief.
As of now, there is no cure for this virus. In such a situation, all people have been advised to take precautions. All people are being instructed to follow social distancing. The outbreak of this virus spreading from human to human remains all over the world.
