Cricket is a very popular game in our country and even the most played game is loved by everyone, from the youngest child to the eldest. Although we know most of the rules of cricket, but cricket also has such interesting rules which very few people knows it  and the reason for this is that rarely comes the time to follow these rules.

1. Lost boll - If the ball is lost during the match, the fielding team can appeal for the lost ball. In such a situation, the ball will be considered dead but the batsman who scored that ball will get it.

2. Timeout - If one player's wicket falls during the match but if the other player does not reach his crease within 3 minutes, he can be given out on the appeal of the fielding team.

3. Helmet connection - A batsman is now out if he hits the ball and it is caught after it strikes the helmet of a wicketkeeper or fielder.

4. No appeal no out– You must have seen many times that when a batsman is caught out or LBW out, the fielding team appeals.  If the fielding team does not appeal then the umpires cannot give out.

5. Spider cam - If the ball hits the spider cam after the batsman hits the shot, then that ball will be considered a dead ball and the batsman will not get any runs.

6. Out time -no bating no fielding- When a player is out of the ground due to injury, he cannot batting or bowling for that length of time.

7. Retired out - When a batsman retires without the umpire's permission, it is considered retired.

8. Run from wicket keeper helmet - If the ball released by the batsman's shot, hits the wicketkeeper's helmet behind the wicket, the batsman gets extra 5 runs. This is because the ball is obstructed without the help of any player.

9. Handling Boll - When a batsman hands the ball away deliberately to avoid being dismissed, he is given out due to the handling the ball rule.

10. Umpires permission - If a player goes outside the ground without injury or any other reason without the permission of the umpire, the batting team gets 5 runs extra.
