Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for building a 'self-reliant' India. The Prime Minister wanted to focus on the 'Make in India' project to reverse the economic downturn caused by the virus infection and its lockdown. The Prime Minister said the country would also walk the path of self-reliance in the field of defense. After this, there are many signs of self-reliance in the field of defense. This time the decision to build a warplane with twin engines is such an example.

INS Vikramaditya is now the only aircraft carrier in India. INS Bikrant is going to join the navy very soon. These aircraft carriers will be built in such a way that the new two-engine jets can land.
