Know about an Indian-American woman breaking a barrier as old as the 218 year old US military academy. Second Lieutenant Anmol Narang will be the first Sikh women to graduate from the American Military Academy. She has completed a four year degree in nuclear engineering from the West Point Military Academy. Indian origin Second Lieutenant Anmol Narang wants to work in the field of air defense systems.
She will have her graduation ceremony on Saturday in the presence of US President Donald Trump. US President Donald Trump will deliver remarks at the 2020 US Military Academy at West Point graduation ceremony. After graduation, she must complete the Basic Officer Leadership Course (BOLC) at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. After this, she will join the American Air force. Second Lieutenant Anmol Narang first posting will take place in Okinawa, Japan in January 2021. There is an American airbase here.

Second Lieutenant Anmol Narang told the American NGO Sikh Coalition that 'I am very excited and happy to complete my graduation from West Point Academy. I feel honored when my dream is fulfilled. Georgia's Sikh community helped move forward. Boosted my confidence. It means a lot to me. By achieving this goal, I am showing the way to other American Sikhs that they can make a career in any field.'

Know about Anmol Narang
Second Lieutenant Anmol Narang was born in a Sikh family in Georgia. Her early studies took place here. Her family has been living here for two generations. Her grandfather was in the Indian Army, so she wanted to pursue a career in the army since childhood. When she was in high school, her family went to see the Pearl Harbor National Memorial in Hawaii. From then on, she started preparing to apply at the West Point Military Academy.
