It is a Horror Fiction series, but less scary and holds you with it's thriller storyline.
In the Betaal, the East India Company's most powerful Colonel "Lynedoch", who never faced defeat during his time. He woke up in the present due to an Indian army squad known as "Baaz Squad". Lynedoch had some black magic powers of 'Betaal' due to which he woke up again and started commanding his dead army of Britishers with the old rifles.
It becomes more interesting when Colonel Lynedoch overcome to commanding officer of the "Baaz Squad" and control them also.
It's really amazing and fascinating to see that the present Indian army gets a chance to kill the cruel British officers of that time.
One says " this bullet is for Jallianwala Bagh, and this one for Bhagat Singh".
How they try to eliminate the Lynedoch and how they fight against his army makes the series some more interesting because killing the dead or "zombies" always remains a bad choice.
At the end it leaves a great suspense like any other netflix series. The Betaal is dead or still alive and wants to conquer earth.
It is really exciting to watch this series because I love to watch fascinating and adventure stuff.
