Digital banking facility is being made easy for everyone from home to farms through 'India Post Payments Bank'. The amount received in other banks through Aadhaar enabled payment system is also being paid through micro ATMs. The above information was given by Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director of Postal Services, Lucknow Headquarters Zone.
The campaign was conducted in 6 districts
The Director of Posts, Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that on June 27, the campaign was run for payment under the Aadhaar Enabled Payments System of India Post Payments Bank in Lucknow, Barabanki, Rae Bareli, Sitapur, Ayodhya and Ambedkarnagar under all Lucknow districts. In this, more than 30 thousand people took advantage of this service in a day and withdrew more than 3 crores of 36 lakh from their bank accounts. Gramin Dak Sevaks and Postmen went to their homes, fields, and barns and provided labor to the workers at their workplace by withdrawing money from their bank account.
Mr. Yadav said that, during this time, the Department of Posts tried to benefit people from every section of society. Also, special attention was paid to the migrant laborers and MNREGA workers from other states and funds received from the central and state governments were immediately withdrawn from their accounts at their place of work.

Also, helpless people who are physically handicapped, elderly, or remote rural areas where the ATM facility is not available, the postman and Gramin Dak Sevak are also going to provide money to the people by withdrawing money from the bank.
India Post Payments will be linked with the bank
The Director of Posts, Mr. Yadav said that in the Mahabhiyan on June 27, Barabanki division paid maximum 10,129 people through AEPS service, while Sitapur division distributed maximum Rs.1 crore 5 lakh through AEPS. 4 out of 6 branches of Lucknow Headquarters area succeeded in making it to the top 10 in Barabanki, Rae Bareli, Sitapur, and Lucknow Uttar Pradesh.
Postal Director Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that by running a campaign on June 29, more people will be connected to India Post Payments Bank by opening IPPB accounts. These paperless accounts will be opened to promote digital banking on the basis of Aadhaar and Mobile number only.
Sitting at home enjoying its services
In this campaign also, special attention will be paid to the migrant laborers so that they can get assistance from the government at home without going out. So far, over 4 lakh 71 thousand people have joined the India Post Payments Bank in the Lucknow Headquarters area and are taking advantage of its services from home.
