'Ant-Man 3': Jonathan Majors is its new villain? Lets know!

Within Marvel canon , Kang the Conqueror is not the best-known villain, but he is one of the most dangerous. Not surprisingly, this man with the head of a mixer created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby has a song from The Planets all to himself . Peyton Reed, director of the Ant-Man series, seems to have taken note of this destructive potential: Jonathan Majors ( Lovecraft Territory ) has signed for one of the main roles of Ant-Man 3 ... and sources cited by Deadline (via ScreenRant) point out that he could play Kang.

Mind you: Deadline's confidants add that the Majors character could start the story with another identity and become this perfidious time traveler after a script twist, which makes sense. A native of the 31st century, and born Nathaniel Richards (and, yes, he is a descendant of Reed Richards and Susan Storm of the Fantastic Four), Kang began his career by moving to ancient Egypt and reigning there as Pharaoh Rama- Tut, to later (after the beats of rigor) adopt his current identity and face the Avengers in multiple battles.

Within the Marvel Universe of comics, Kang has been linked to multiple aspects not yet addressed by the cinema, from the saga of the Celestial Madonna to the Secret Wars, not to mention his connection with the Fantastic Four, which could give rise to to juicy speculation about the future of Phase 4 and beyond.

But these are just castles in the air, for now: let's leave it in that Ant-Man 3 will again feature Paul Rudd as the titular hero and Evangeline Lilly as Wasp, in addition to Majors and a Michael Douglas who also returns to the series. We will continue to report on his future miniaturized adventures.
