Body care is also important as skin care.

Beat the (dry) heat with these easy to make skincare recipes. Your skin will become dry and uncomfortable as well.  To combat them, try to treat yourself to a spa treatment-style treat.  It's simple to duplicate some treatments found in fancy spas and much more cost effective.  Just remember to do an allergy skin test (the inside of your arm can be a sensitive spot) once you've taken advantage of any new ingredients or beauty products.  To be safe, wait twenty-four hours so there is no redness, swelling, or tactile sensation.

Hydrate, hydrate
A simple trick could be a quick and easy facial steamer. Just grab a bowl of steaming dilemma, add 2 drops of your favorite essential oils, and lean over the bowl until your face is about four inches away. Cover your head with a towel to capture the steam and relax for about ten minutes.

The Lavender & Herb Essential Oils Area Unit is nice for all skin types. Adding tea tree oil for oily skin (though remember it contains a strong, healthy scent) and chamomile for dry skin.
Note: Facial steamers are not recommended for people with sensitive skin and will not be done 2-3 times a month.  Follow with a toner and moisturizer.

It's a wrap  Moisturize your skin by making a nutrient-rich body butter with ingredients from your room.

 Ingredients:
1 ripe banana
Pulp of a ripe avocado
1 stick of sweet butter,
1/4 cup light whipping cream
1-2 drops of lavender or herbal essential oils

Mix ingredients one at a time in a kitchen appliance. Add additional light whipping cream if necessary to create a smooth mixture.  Steam inside the toilet to open the pores and prepare the skin for the body wrap.  Lay a fresh associate degree blanket on the floor and place 2 plastic garbage bags (end to end) on top.  Massage the body butter on your skin (avoiding the eyes), change your position on the garbage luggage and wrap yourself inside the luggage and the blanket.  Relax for a quarter of an hour and rinse.

Add a little salt  Almost any spa you visit offers some kind of saline glow. Salt leaves skin soft by helping to exfoliate the highest layer of skin.  You will do a very similar factor at home, minus the trained massager.  Use about 3/4 cup of fine-grained ocean salts (found in health food stores) and moisten the salt with about 1/8 cup of grapeseed or oil.  Add 3 to 5 drops of essential oils (Riley recommends lavender and citrus), massage into skin, and rinse.  Please note this could be a bit messy and slippery so you will need to be sitting in your boat for this one.

Bathe it
Instead of paying huge amount in spa, soak in your own container for the herbs' value.  For a relaxing once-a-day treatment, brew the herbs in a teacup, let them steep for twenty to half an hour, strain the tea into your tub, and enjoy.

Skin balm
To help defend your skin from harsh winter conditions, doctors has created an instruction for a winter balm. Use it on your lips, dry cuticles, or anywhere you have dry skin.

Ingredients:

2 teaspoons avocado oil
2 additional teaspoons of virgin oil
1 teaspoon slightly rounded shea butter (available in health food stores or online)
1 1/2 teaspoons beeswax pearls (available at herbal stores or online)
7 drops of lavender oil (optional)
5 drops of vegetable oil (optional)

Measure all ingredients except essential oils into an extremely heat-resistant mug and microwave for one minute.  (If the ingredients are not completely dissolved, microwave in ten-second increments until just softened.)  Stir the mixture with a popsicle stick.  If you are victimizing essential oils, wait a few minutes before adding them.  Add the oil and blend well with the stick.  Thoroughly pour the mixture into a clean glass jar.  Allow hardening about a quarter of an hour before the victimization.  Store in an extremely cool and dry place.
