Capsicum rice healthy and tasty recipe

Capsicum rice:

  • When we are bored of routine foods and rice for your lunch or dinner then try something new, tasty, and healthy.
  • I am going to share you a healthy capsicum recipe which will be perfect to try new.
  • It is filled with good veggies and ingredients.

Ingredients:

  1. Capsicum(available colors), boiled rice
  2. Onion, mustard seeds
  3. Turmeric, garam masala
  4. Salt, chilly powder, pepper
  5. curry leaves, coriander leaves
  6. Oil/Butter.

For masala ingredients:

  1. Peanuts
  2. Coriander seeds, cumin seeds
  3. Dried red chilies, sesame seeds
  4. Chana dal, urad dal.

Recipe of capsicum rice:

  • Firstly to prepare masala powder roast 2 spoons of peanuts, 1 spoon of sesame seeds, half spoon of coriander and cumin seeds, 1 spoon of urad dal and Chana dal, 4 dries red chilies dry roast them on a pan and coarse them into powder and put it aside.
  • Now take a pan heat 2 spoons of olive oil add mustard seeds, curry leaves saute them and now add onion pieces, salt, turmeric powder, and saute them until they turned into a golden brown color.
  • Now add one cup of capsicum slices and saute for 2 minutes and add the prepared masala mix and mix well.
  • Let it stir and cook for one more minute and then add boiled rice into it and mix gently without breaking the rice.
  • Cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes on low flame so that the rice absorbs all the flavors and masala.
  • Finally add coriander leaves and turn off the flame.
  • Serve it warmly to eat and it will taste amazing.
