Masala Toast is a rare known street food and a great option for breakfast other than sandwiches. This is the first time I made red sweet tamarind chutney for masala bread that reminds me of my childhood. Today, we will see this recipe of masala toast.
Ingredients required:
- 1 tsp oil
- curry leaves
- green chili
- 1 cup mashed potatoes
- salt (according to your taste)
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- coriander leaves (for garnishing)
- bread slice
- butter
- 1 onion sliced
- 1 capsicum sliced
- cheese slice
- chutney
Instructions required:
1. Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan. Add few Wray, curry leaves & green chili. Add 1 cup mashed potatoes & salt to taste. Add 1 tsp chaat masala & 1 tsp turmeric powder. Mix it well and cook for a minute. Turn off the gas & garnish with coriander leaves.
2. Take a bread slice & spread some butter & chutney. Spread potato filling on the other slice & place Put 2 – 3 slices of tomatoes, 1 slice of onion & capsicum on top.
