Restaurant Style an Yummy Rice Coconut Kheer

 

We are going to see some sweet or we may say kheer recipe. It is an easy and yummy recipe named Rice and coconut kheer.Let see the ingredients and preparation of this recipe.

Ingredients Needed:

·     Basmati Rice or Any Rice – 1/2 cup

·     Water – 3 cup or adjust

·     Jaggery / Sarkarai- 1.5 cup

·     Coconut – 1/2 cup grated

·     Thick Coconut Milk – 2 cup

·     Ghee – 1 tbsp + 2 tbsp

·     Cashews – 2 tbsp

·     Sultanas / Kishmish- 2 tbsp

·     Cardamom Powder / Yelakai Podi – 1 tsp

·     Coconut – 2 tblspn cut into small pieces

How to make rice coconut payasam?

·     Get any rice in a mixer and make it into a fine coarse powder.

·     Take some jiggery and add some water. Boil this to make into liquid. Then we want to strain them and kept aside.

·     After that take grated coconut in a mixer and make into a paste and take some coconut milk.

·     Take a kadai add some ghee and grated rice in to them. Make to heat for some minutes.

·     Then add in water and get it to boil. Close the kadai with lid, slowdown the flame and heat for 30 to 35 minutes till the rice is suitable for eating and water has reduced.

·     After that add the grated coconut paste and jaggery liquid.

·     Wait them to boil and cook for 10 more minutes.

·     Finally add the coconut milk and slow down the flam for some more minutes.

·     Move this payasam to a basin and spray over cardamom powder and mix well.

·     Warm ghee or butter in a kadai. Add some coconut slice and add some cashews and raisans. Fry them till golden brown.

·     Transfer this entire thing above the payasam and mix well.
