Drinking coffee has been a national pastime for Americans. They drink an average of 3 cups a day. Now, it seems like their love affair have some health benefits because it has been said that coffee fights cancer. Harvard Researchers discovered that man who drink 6 or more cups of coffee daily have a stunning 60 percent lower risk of having lethal prostate cancer. Even drinking just 1 to 3 cups, drop the risk by 30 percent.

Surprisingly, like broccolis and blueberries and all those well known cancer fighting foods, coffee contains hundreds of potent antioxidants, among them are little known, hard to pronounce compound called Methylpyridinium. Previous studies shows that Methylpyridinium supercharges enzymes in your body that may stop colon cancer from developing.

Then a Swedish study shows that women who drink 5 or more cups of coffee a day had a lower risk of developing aggressive form of breast cancer. Researchers are raising to try and understand all of coffee’s benefits. Coffee now are has been associated with the lower risk of diabetes, lower risk of Parkinson’s disease, a lower risk of sclerosis and liver disease.
