Diwali is the largest Hindu festival celebrated in India. Deepawali means - Deep means Deep and Wali means Row, a line of Deep. Diwali is celebrated with four days of celebration that illuminates our earth with our talents and impresses everyone with their joy. During this time Lord Ganesha and mother Lakshmi are worshiped. According to mythology, Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya on the day of Diwali. In the joy of Lord Rama's arrival, the people of Ayodhya lit a lamp and welcomed him. Importance of Diwali:
According to the Puranas, when Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya after killing Ravana in Tretayuga, the people there welcomed him by lighting a lamp. Every year people celebrate this reception as Diwali. On the day of Diwali, Lord Ganesha and Mother Lakshmi are worshiped. On this day, Rangoli is made at the main entrance of the house. The entire house is also decorated with lights to welcome the arrival of Maa Lakshmi. After worshiping Ganapati and Goddess Lakshmi, Diwali greetings, kheel and bakshe are distributed to wish each other. According to tradition, mother Lakshmi stays at home by doing so. There is no lack of money in one's house.
