200 walnuts
70 grams sugar
1 tsp cinnamon powder
Organic orange zest
250 g liquefied honey
100 ml water
2 tablespoons orange flower water
16 Philo Pastry Sheets
50 g molten butter
Method
Finely chop the walnuts using a mixer cutter. Add sugar, cinnamon powder and orange zest to it and mix properly and keep aside.
To prepare syrup, put water and honey in a pan and boil it together. Cook on low flame for two minutes and then take it off the flame and let it cool down. When the syrup has cooled completely, add orange flower water to it.
Preheat the oven at 150 ° C. Remove the Philo pastry sheet from the packet and spread it all separately and with the help of a brush, apply melted butter properly on the top of all.
Now place two tablespoons of walnut mixture on the thin side of the pastry leaving 2-3 cm of space on it. Roll the pastry and at the end fold the sheets properly so that the mixture does not come out. Prepare all the pastries in this way.
Spread all the rolls in a line on a baking sheet and apply the remaining melted butter with a brush.
Bake for 25 minutes or until all the rolls are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle hot syrup on it and serve.
