Tasteful and Healthy Mixed Vegetable Tahiri Recipe

 

Mixed Vegetable Tahiri or Pulao is by far the tastiest rice dish I’ve ever had, it has the aroma and taste of all the vegetables and well-cooked rice too. Tasteful and healthy Rice Recipe one can make any time, especially in times like these where we are locked down in our houses so with that let’s start having something healthy!

  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • salt (according to your taste)
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 5 cloves
  • 6 peppercorn
  • 2 black cardamon
  • 3 to 4 Bay leaves
  • 3 potatoes cut it into big chunks
  • rice 3 cup

Instructions to make vegetable Tahiri :

1. In a pot heat the oil 1/3 cup, add the onion saute until golden brown, add ginger, garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin, cloves, peppercorn, cloves, black cardamom, and bay leaves.

credit:party image reference2. Add tomatoes let it simmer few minutes and smash it with the spoon to make a smooth paste.

3. Once the oil separates from the masala, add potatoes and mix it well. Add little water to cook potatoes until 80% done. Then add rice, and little water to cook rice. Cook rice till the water absorbed and rice fluffy and soft.
