The Big Bash League (BBL) may begin its 10th season from the second week of December. Cricket Australia (CA) is busy with its preparations, around this time the Indian cricket team will also be on the Australian tour for the Test and Limited Over Series. This is the reason why some of Australia's star cricketers may miss the 10th season of BBL. CA has agreed to participate in overseas cricketers in BBL. Club teams will be able to include as many as three foreign cricketers in their playing eleven. Meanwhile, the news is coming that BBL club teams are in contact with Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Suresh Raina and Yuvraj Singh.
All club teams will have to seal the names of their international cricketers soon, as they will also have to follow the quarantine rules after arriving in Australia. According to cricket.com.au's report, the club teams of BBL are eager to take on three Indian cricketers (Dhoni, Raina, Yuvraj). Dhoni and Raina have retired from international cricket on August 15 this year, while Yuvi has retired from all formats of cricket last year. In such a situation, it is very easy for all the three cricketers to play in the BBL.
Dhoni and Raina will have to take NoC
Yuvi is fully eligible to join the BBL 2020-21, while Dhoni and Raina will have to get a Non-Objection Certificate (NOC) before the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Dhoni and Raina are part of the IPL, while Yuvi is not connected to Indian cricket in any way. According to BCCI rules, any Indian cricket-related cricketer will have to take an NOC from the board to participate in any league outside.
