Desktop site view in Android phone

Most of us have faced the common issue of the partial display of page, edges and the sides cropped out while viewing most of the web pages in our android device. This gets very annoying when we are in an urgent need of filing out some online form. I faced a similar issue when I had to submit my personal details urgently on an online platform, but didn't have access to a laptop.

To my anguish, while filling out the details, the session had timed out in no time. I was left anguished, redoing the entire form from scratch. It was a real pain in the rear. By this time, I realised there was another way out, where I can get a full view of the page exactly as it would on a laptop and then fill out the details. This trick is as simple as it gets.

Here is how you do it:

  1. Launch the chrome browser in Android.
  2. Navigate to any website that you want to view
  3. Now, tap on top right corner of the Chrome window(symbol with the three dots) to pull up the menu options.
  4. Select the checkbox for Desktop Site
  5. The webpage will now reload with the full desktop view.

That's all. Hope this simple settings make things easier for you while you navigate through buttons and images in a webpage while accessing through phone.
