Thinking uniquely is not something one is born with else it is something that one develops. In my opinion and in the opinion of many great authors like Ekart Tolle , Joseph Murphy it is said that one develops a skill most efficiently by reading book, books that can change your perspective forever.
To keep your uniqueness learn to set boundaries as soon as possible and then enforce them. Our boundaries define us as a person. They tell the universe how we feel about ourselves and how we will and will not allow our uniqueness to be intrude upon.
Celebrate yourself. Do what you love, no matter what others may say about it. Don't listen to opinions, or those who encourage you to shut up, be compliant and "act normal".Above all else love yourself, warts and faults and all, for it is those imperfections, those breaks, chips, smudges and weaknesses that make you unique. It is your personality, your sense of humor - or lack thereof, your take on life, your passions, your joys, your loves that makes you unique. If you can go through life without letting others mold or break you, then you will succeed in being unique without becoming unique.
So in order to be unique you need to follow three simple steps:
- Talk to yourself daily and manage to find time for yourself.
- Never underestimate yourself and your potential.
- Its better to follow good words than to follow good persons
- Try to cultivate the habit of reading some good books. It changes your perception of life.Read about lives of great people so that you could realise that somebody is not born to be greatness.
The idea behind this is what can make you different from every person around you. When you read about successful people or try to look as cool as people around you that's where you lose “uniqueness”. This can't be achieved until a person just take inspiration and work on himself or herself.
