The Rubik's cube has been the 8th wonder for many people. It has been solved for decades by now. The one who created this toy like thing himself took more than a month to solve it. However, as for today, we have done a lot of progress in this twisty field. The record for solving a cube, particularly a 3x3 Rubik's cube goes to a Chinese speedcuber who solved it in under 4 seconds, 3.475 seconds to be more precise.

Many other cubers like Feliks Zemdegs, Max Park have broken several records for solving a cube. There is not the only type of cube which we know. 2x2 4x4 5x5 up till 9x9, skwebs, ghost cubes, pyraminx and so on.

If someone goes to solve a cube by himself, it may take eternity!!! But if you have the resources like YouTube, or any kind of booklet, the cube is just a task of some days. If you keep practising enough, you may bring down the timing to less than 1 min in just a month. When I started practising and solving the cube i was a bit confused. Just didn't know where to start from. Then I started researching on the internet for various tutorials and some of the videos I saw were so confusing. Then after a week or so, I actually started having a feel of the cube. Gradually I was able to solve a cube in a matter of minutes. Then one day I saw a video on YouTube in which a kid aged around 15-16 from America solved the cube in 6 seconds and broke the national record. Then I thought if he could do it, why cant I?
I started practising a lot harder and harder and harder. Eventually, after an year I began to finish the 3x3 cube in under 20 seconds. And now it has been more than 3 years since I first started solving cubes that I can easily solve a 3x3 in just 10-12 seconds. Everything lies in the way you solve it!!
