Shahi Paneer: is a preparation of paneer (cottage cheese) in a thick gravy originating in the Indian subcontinent, basically a North Indian dish. Shahi means ‘royal’ while paneer is ‘cottage cheese’.
This is something I make every Diwali (An Indian Festival) and sometimes on various special occasions. My recipe might not concur with the ones you find on YouTube or Google. This one is slightly different because it's a personal recipe I learnt from my aunt.
Paneer Bhurji: A simple and tasty quick fix paneer delicacy than can be eaten in any meal, anytime. Scrambled with fried onions, tomatoes, chillies and some dry spices, this nutritious preparation can be served with rotis or breads.
Paneer Parathas: Looking for healthy weekend brunch? Go for a nutritious protein enriched paneer paratha, a stuffed wheat bread preparation that is a north Indian delicacy. Scramble and mix paneer with finely chopped green leafy vegetable like spinach , onions, garlic and some spicy dry masalas and stuff it in wheat dough, roll and cook it with desi ghee to enhance the nutrition value and serve hot with curd and pickle.
Paneer Cutlets: Indulge in a lip smacking tea time snack with paneer and impress your guests with a healthy treat. Mix scrambled paneer with onions and boiled and mashed potatoes along with mint, dry spices and bread crumbs. Shape this mixture into small flat balls and shallow fry in ghee. Serve with green mint and coriander chutney and enjoy a healthy, wholesome snack.
Paneer Sandwich: Another healthy and quick recipe for breakfast or tea time snack. Layer a slice of bread with spicy mint and coriander chutney and stuff it with paneer bhurji. Cover it with another slice of bread and toast it in toaster or on tava with butter and serve hot with spicy chutney or sauce.
