Fatima Sana Shaikh (born on 11 January 1992 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (now Telangana), India) is an Indian film actress mainly worked in Hindi films. She is known for her works in Bollywood movies, and TV shows. Fatima seen as a child artist in movie such as Kamal Haasan's Chachi 420 and Shah Rukh Khan's One 2 Ka 4. Years later, she played Zoya in the Indian drama Santosh Sivan directed film Tahaan which received "The German Star of India award" at "Bollywood and Beyond" festival at Stuttgart Germany in two thousand nine. In 2016, she portrayed Indian freestyle wrestler, Geeta Phogat in the sports drama Aamir Khan's film Dangal which was screened at the Beijing International Film Festival, and 2nd BRICS festival. She played Zafira Baig, a warrior-archer Thug in the epic action-adventure film, Aamir Khan's movie Thugs of Hindostan. Fatima Sana Shaikh was born in Hyderabad, India and brought up in Mumbai, India. While her father is a Hindu from Jammu, her mother is a Muslim from Srinagar. Shaikh identifies herself as an atheist.
