The civilian who was held hostage by terrorists in Batote area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district has been rescued unharmed. Security forces neutralised three terrorists, while one Army personnel was martyred and two policemen were injured in the encounter. The terrorists were spotted in the Batote market at around 12:45 PM, as per police.
