Here's how Karela Juice is good for diabetes

Karela or bitter gourd helps to regulate blood sugar levels in the body and makes your insulin active. And when your insulin is activated, the sugar in your body will be used adequately and won't convert into fat.

Studies also state that bitter gourd has a few compounds with anti-diabetic properties. One such compound is Charantin, which is known for its blood glucose-lowering effect. Furthermore, karela contains a compound called Polypeptide-p or p-insulin which has been shown to control diabetes naturally.
How to make Karela juice at home
Peel and slice the bitter gourd to the centre. Once you are done with the slicing, shovel the white flesh and the seeds of the vegetable. Take the bitter gourd and cut them into pieces, and soak the pieces in water for 30 minutes. Blend bitter gourd, lemon and half a teaspoon of salt in a juicer.

To reduce the bitterness of the drink, add some honey or extra lemon juice to it. It will take you a while to get accustomed to the taste of the juice, but if consumed daily, it will improve your overall health condition with time.
